BOARD OF REVIEW NOTICE — May 1, 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assessor will hold Open Book for the Town of Ludington of Eau Claire County on Thursday, April 10 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ludington Town Hall located at E19980 County Road D, Fall Creek, WI. The Board of Review will be held at the same location on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

2025 Request for Bids

 

The Town of Ludington is accepting bids for the following 2025 Road Work and Material:
 

• Base Course   ¾” and 1¼”
• Blue Granite  ¾” and 1¼”
  NOTE:  Base Course and Blue Granite need to be delivered where needed for road work as well as anywhere in the Town of Ludington – sold to town and/or town residents
• Chip Seal – with dark granite chips
• Ludington Drive 1.32 miles
• Scenic Drive 1.0 miles
• Woodland Valley .5 miles
• 10th Avenue 1.0 miles
• Berlin Road 1.5 miles
• Crack Seal – Scenic Drive

For specs and further information contact Derrick Brown at 715-456-3890.  All materials and work performed shall meet Wisconsin DOT specifications for road construction and may be tested for quality.
 
Current certificate of insurance showing employer’s liability coverage must be enclosed with bid.  Sealed bids will be opened and reviewed at the Ludington Town Board Meeting on May 8, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. but may be awarded at a later date.  Send bids to Randy Horlacher - Chairman, N2775 State Road 27, Cadott, WI  54727 by May 8, 2025. The Town of Ludington reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or accept those most advantageous to the Town.

Playground Equipment

The Ludington picnic, pavilion, park area, across from the Ludington Town Hall, has been well used and the Board has heard many positive comments. The playground area was a "popular hang out for students while waiting for the summer bus", "great for a family picnic while the kids play on the playground equipment", "such a wonderful addition to our town". Because of this popularity, the Board encourages town residents to use our park area - it is there for everyone to enjoy.
